Rough Metallic Ore Chunks

The chunks display varying surface textures and appearances - some pieces exhibit bright, reflective silvery-metallic surfaces while others appear darker with duller, more oxidized coatings. The irregular shapes and mixed surface conditions are typical of raw ore specimens, where fresh fractures reveal the bright metallic luster underneath while exposed surfaces develop gray or black oxidation layers. These characteristics are common in silver-bearing ores, lead ores (galena), or zinc ores (sphalerite), which often occur together in nature and display metallic to submetallic luster with varying degrees of surface oxidation.
